In 12.04 using vinagre fullscreen mode, the top menu appears, when you
move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen, there is a small white
line to indicate, where the top menu is.

I experience a similar problem when copying a large number of files
(approx 700Gb) across HDD - external and internal, all NTFS formatted.
Files are selected, dragged and dropped and copying starts normally.

As far I can remember 13.10 and 14.04 have /etc/default/keyboard config

I found a script to set the modified date using the EXIF data from videos and

Lance, go ahead and add the SRU paperwork!
Since gnome-session is only a recommends of gnome-panel it could be
possible to end up without gnome-session installed, but I suspect this
is fairly unlikely, there should be something else pulling it in on any
GNOME based desktop.
As a side note,
When this fixed in 14.04 Trusty Tahr for 14.04.1 (24 July)?
