Tweaks -> Fonts. Setting the scaling factor to 1.25 seems to work well
for me, practically can't tell the difference.

Thanks Sebastien, I'll mark this one as verified on the basis that the
dock can be moved freely from one display to the other and back, and
that no crash occurs.
I've created bug 1877108 for the incorrect reporting of which display
the dock is currently being shown on.

I still can't reproduce it even under valgrind. So what I've done is
backported the upstream fix to 3.28, made sure it builds and runs and
put it in a PPA for people to test:
