In Ubuntu 12.04 (AMD64) I cannot enter anything in the Host text box on
the connect dialog box for Vinagre. It seems like the Host text box
cannot take to focus, so nothing can be entered. This is true for any of
the three protocols.

I have two Ubuntu 10.04 computers that are experiencing this problem,
while a third computer seems to be working fine. From the working
desktop computer I can mount the public files share on my laptop and can
copy files back and forth just fine. However, from my laptop I get the
mount error
