I still believe, that issue is also related to upgrade, not just to
dropbox library.
After reboot, the gnome environmet didn't worked properly. The menu and
panels wasn't started, ALT + F2 not worked.
I was trying to reinstall gnome part and found error messages from
apt, that package system

I can reproduce it again. For these video files
8,7M video-1.flv
7,5M video-1.ogv
preview is not generated for OGV version. (Is the size OK?)
