libbeagle is needed to compile and run. So it depends on libbeagle, as
libbeagle has the needed functions to determine if the beagle daemon is
running etc. I belive this patch automatically detects if beagle is
running and hides the search feature when no daemon is present.

Well, any solution is going to have to have BeagleHit in it (thats the
beagle api..) There are tracker solutions out there, but they are very
limited at the moment. There is support for tracker in nautilus, but not

I personnally don't think it's a good idea at all to move files from a
removable device to ~/.Trash. Moving big files from USB1.0 cameras can
be really long and annoying. Also, imho it just doesn't make sense to
transfer files to another device when the user really wants to delete
them.

sticks. I get an error when I try to delete stuff with nautilus. Then I

don't show up in a NIS set up and 2) the groups for audio, etc, I took
care of in /etc/security/group.conf with:
gdm;*;*;Al-2400;cdrom,floppy,video,audio,plugdev
