Public bug reported:
Description:Ubuntu Yakkety Yak (development branch)
Release:16.10
Version: 3.0.0-4ubuntu3
The package gnome-system-tools contains files in
/usr/@DATADIRNAME@/locale which is probably wrong. It is the only
package that has files there. Looks like a variable name
Public bug reported:
evolution uses something called system timezone per default. This
appears to be the timezone defined by /etc/localtime.
This is odd, and entirely different from all other software, that uses
$TZ, and only looks at /etc/localtime as a fallback.
Explanation: I use UTC for
Public bug reported:
evolution cannot be used as calendar only. Configuring it with only a
Google Calendar account works, but on every start (for example, from the
Gnome Shell Calendar widget) evolution asks to be configured (with a
mail account), selecting cancel will terminate the program.

I have added screenshots for different themes. *-good shows the actual
theme, *-broken shows the desktop after one cycle of closing and opening
the lid.
I have now made the observation that the theme change happens when
opening the lid, not when closing the lid.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Using Ubuntu jaunty (current) on amd64 on a Thinkpad X200s, when I close
the laptop lid the GNOME theme gets somehow corrupted: Some aspects of
it, like the title bar colour and icon theme, but not other settings,
are changed.

Binary package hint: gucharmap
gucharmap misses a dependency on gconf2.
In its prerm-script it uses gconf-schemas, which is in gconf2. That is,
if one tries to remove gucharmap while gconf2 is already removed, it
fails in prerm and cannot be removed:
