I am not sure, but I think I experienced this bug several times, too. It
happens when doing some file/folder management (moving, copying,
renaming), but I can not consistently reproduce it.

As far as the original bug is concerned, I can reproduce it, but only if
you choose "Card View" when creating your own view. "Table
There are currently some problems keeping the bugwatches in sync with
large bugtracker like GNOME or Debian. This should get better in the
future. "Fix Released" for nautilus in Ubuntu is correct, since nautilus
in Ubuntu 10.04 has the version 2.28.4, in which the bug is fixed.
