I have a brand new Plextor PX-740A here, attached via a USB enclosure,
and it does not seem to have this problem. It has never had an audio CD
in it, and the first time I inserted a video DVD, totem opened

I had killed gnome-screensaver in my running session while reproducing a
different bug. I logged out and back in, but it wasn't started again. Running
gnome-screensaver-preferences started it, but after logout/login at that point,
it was gone again. No errors from gnome-screensaver in

Confirmed, if I take a file of mine which plays OK, and convert it to one of
these FLAC files without length metadata, Rhythmbox refuses to play it.
Guillaume, you should be able to work around the problem trivially by
recompressing your FLAC files.
