If I move back to my original desktop (Ctrl+Alt+F7), then back to remote login, then the remote session has crashed with a graphics error (Screen 0 is not DRI capable) - I put that down to my crappy video card! -- Remote Login via XDMCP is not working in Ubuntu Gusty/7.10

This seems to be a problem with gdm I installed kdm on my gutsy machine and was then able to connect to a remote (feisty) machine running gdm. I have not yet been able to test whether I can connect from to a guty machine using this setup. -- Remote Login via XDMCP is not working in Ubuntu

I don't know whether this helps, but it seems to be a problem with the 7.10 remote login. I set up 2 machines, 1 Feisty, and one Gutsy. The fiesty machine can login to Gutsy and Feisty systems, but the Gutsy machine cannot connect to any remote systems with XDMCP. This happens with Ubuntu and
