Could I just remove "lib/udev/rules.d/61-gdm.rules" for now?
Or is there a way to downgrade easily to gdm3 (42.0-1ubuntu2)?

Just happened again. Disconnecting external monitors lead to crash in
which after log in the session was lost. I do not see a related crash in
/var/crash/... nor anything at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID

So far so good, will keep an eye and report back in case I experience a

I do sometimes get logged out after messing with monitors still but
after log in all applications are still there. Don't know if this is
expected, I'd say not, but as the work is not lost it does not seem

It just happened after booting with monitors disconnected and then connecting
the monitor.
