We've had the same problem today after an upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10: The Evolution calendar has quit unexpectedly. // Your calendars will not be available until Evolution is restarted After a bit of trying to figure what was wrong by searching on internet, on a hunch, I went and opened the

Hi tellapu. I went to check again the copy I saved prior to applying the change, and I have to correct myself: Just the same as what you found out on your side, the file encoding was actually ISO-8859-15 (not ISO-8859-1 as I reported previously). I didn't pay attention to the line ending

I think this bug can be closed. I have recurrent computer freezes requiring cold reboot, so I suspect that the fact it happened twice in a row while scrolling a PDF document is pure coincidence, not unlikely since I was mainly working with PDF back then. -- Computer freezes while scrolling a PDF

Just got the same crash. In my case, I was opening two huge (~7MB each) SQL dumps simultaneously (I wanted to perform a diff). I didn't interact at all with gedit, as far as I can tell, the SQL dumps where being opened/parsed by gedit when the crash occurred. -- Crash when doing a replace all:
