Hi, I am also using blueproximity as Jeremy, so I am affected by this
bug.
I have tried strace-ing both commands, attaching their outputs:
gnome-screensaver-command -a
gnome-screensaver-command -d
Hope that will help someone.
Is there something I can provide to solve this bug?

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-media

Packege: gnome-media 2.25.5-0ubuntu2

Hi Lupine, I'm attaching gpm.log, as you requested. But I think that g-p-m
isn't the source of this problem.
I tried to downgrade gnome-power-manager to 2.24.0-0ubuntu8 (from
2.24.0-0ubuntu8.1), but the problem persists.
I also upgraded linux-backports-modules-2.6.27-11-generic (2.6.27-11.10) to
My steps to reproduce this bug are following:
1) In terminal write 'network-admin' or alternatively click 'Network' in menu
2) Click 'Unlock' button and enter your password in order to gain superuser
privileges
3) Click 'Hosts' tab
4) Click one of the hosts lines
5) And finally click 'Properties'
Ok, it was configuration issue. In gconf key /apps/panel/global/locked_down
should be disabled.
Steps to solve:
1) run gconf-editor (if installed)
2) find key /apps/panel/global/locked_down
3) set False value (uncheck)

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
I've upgraded to Intrepid from Hardy. And when I right-click on gnome-

Panels. It doesn't matter whether I click on vacant space or hide
button.
I expected at least two more
You're definitely right... I'm sorry. I'll try to discover how to make
it work and post it.

We found that this is caused by 'gnome-display-properties' which is in
gnome-control-center package. When user changes some details in this app
and saves them, they are written into unknown file for him
(~/.gnome2/monitors.xml). Then he sets these properties back. And after
each login he gets
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gvfs
I found that gvfs can't list hidden files through ftp. I have a ftp server
which I'm accessing through nautilus (gvfs). The problem is that when I list
files, there is no hidden file (beginning with .) although these are physically
on the server.
Oh, I'm really sorry... It's a bug on webhosters ftp server.
I tried another webhoster's ftp and it works as expected.
This bugreport is Invalid.
Thanks for your time.
