I've made comments on blogs about this and I hope it will be helpful to
add them here.
The layout I've seen in screenshots has already shown flaws, because
whatever draws the window frames hasn't been made to adjust rounded
outlines when buttons are missing. That's an easy fix, barely worth
Try a fresh installation of 10.04 beta, instead of an upgrade. As Pedro
pointed out, a faulty installation was the cause, not a bug in the
software.

I think this might have been actually caused by problems with my intel
drivers causing me to boot up via Recovery Mode and doing a startx. I
don't think all of the keyring stuff was started correctly.
Either way, this issue has resolved itself via upgrades.

New information: changing the file extension allows the file to be
downloaded.
Change an ODT file's extension to any extension that works, and the file
may be downloaded successfully. It does not matter what the extension
is, as long as it belongs to a file type that successfully transfers.

I get the same symptom and fiddling around with cdrecord I find that the
options used for the burn are not compatible with the supported modes of
the drive. The same error is reported in his attached brasero-
session.log

will sometimes skip to a random point in the next song and pause it, as
opposed to playing from the start. The volume is often muted as well.

playlist. Just hit next to advance to the next song while the current is
playing. It may not happen on every song, but on a playlist of ~10 files

There is a configuration option in a GUI...just not the one you looked
at. This is really a documentation problem. If someone turned the
instructions I'm including here into a FAQ entry or something like that,

okular crashed with SIGSEGV in
I had a similar problem in that nothing would open at all with evince
(always said Unhandled MIME type: application/[insert-MIME-type-
here]). I fixed it by reinstalling the package shared-mime-info. I'm
sure this isn't the best way to fix it and not even a real fix at all,
but anyone happen to
