the latest poppler in karmic (0.11.2, uploaded Aug 5) breaks
pdftex/pdflatex and makes them unusable.
for every pdf image I include in a documents, I get
! pdfTeX error (ext1): invalid image dimensions.

been busy, haven't gotten around to submitting upstream yet.
however, I'd note that it seems to be how Outlook and Thunderbird work,
so unsure about the confusion argument.

this is a wishlist bug, but it be nice to be able to undelete a message
by also clicking the delete key.
yes, this can be viewed as overloading the delete key to be delete and
undelete, but in reality it just turns it into a toggle of delete
I don't know why the problem exists, but I figured out what code is
failing (I think)

I'm running evolution now to see if it happens, but the setup has
changed. B4 I was dealing with imap servers that weren't setup so well,
so would have lot of problems. Since then my email has been moved to a
much better run imap server, so might not be able to reproduce it.

I can try running evo for a bit again. The issue forced me to
thunderbird a long time ago and i never looked back.

it's an issue on hardy, I have bluez-audio installed.
I have to
a) manually setup a bluetooth dvice in my .asoundrc
pcm.bluetooth {

b) either set that to the default, or in reality tell the media player
to use the bluetooth device (and only xmms

I don't disagree w/ the fact that there's a use case for listening on
INADDR_ANY, I'm saying that it is a security hole and a security hole
that's easily fixable w/ a single gui option that can determine if it
should bind to 127.0.0.1 or INADDR_ANY and a few lines of code to handle
that option.

to have faced the same exact bug which then just disappeared. (i.e.

I don't use them, but they are forced to be installed (I think
openoffice pulls it in).
I filed a similar buggy durring dapper cycle (at-spi also caused my gaim
cvs to crash).
I've now disabled them, we'll see if it makes a difference.

correct. openoffice forces at-spi to be installed and for some reason
(perhaps at one point I enabled it) accessiblity is then enabled. if I
remove at-spi its by definition no longer enabled. hence why i related
them, now that I know its disabalable, easy fix.

dates with events are bolded in the monthly calendar view (i.e. for
easy eyeballing of which dates have things). Things like weather, which
seb, that's what happens to me. basically only way around it for me, is

without at-spi installed, gdb has no problem running it (i.e. no cannot
get thread info error)
