I have just tested with a user created for the test. The bug still
appears. I have two layouts configured: 'USA Macintosh' and 'France
Alternative'.
When using the 'USA Macintosh' layout and the macbook qwerty keyboard,
everything is fine. I can type Ctrl+a to go to the beginning of the
line.
thanks for your report, that works fine here, which keyboard layout are
you using? may you test with another user, there's maybe something
broken on your configuration.
