I am having the same symptoms as everyone above. I can open email but

I have been having the same problem. Anything I do in regard to sending
mail through my exchange account ( send, reply, or forward) it hangs
just after the mail entry/edit screen appears. I followed the
instructions and ran strace attaching it to the running evolution
