I had this problem when trying to extract a CD on which one of the track
titles had quotation marks in it. After removing the quotation marks the
CD was extracted to my library without problems.

I may have had this same problem. After several restarts of rhythmbox
and reinserting the cd it would fail each time upon reaching the same
track. The track in question contained a question mark in the name and
another had an exclamation mark. I restarted rhythmbox and renamed the
tracks (removed

No. It has only happened on one CD and the same thing doesn't
Update. The Cd copied correctly this morning, but still generated the
error message (Actually a number of instances of it - possibly one for
each track). This is the only CD I know of that this happens with.

That means the issue being on rhytmbox and not on the CD. Marking as
