configurations, I am now able to print in bw with evince, provided
everytime I open it, I change from 'Normal Color', to 'Grayscale'.

I've just logged out. It took over 4 minutes to log out. During that
time the screen was still visible, although nothing worked on it. No

1) insert a CD to burn a copy of, I might recommend an Ubuntu installation CD,
as the world can never have enough.
2) Right click the CD icon on the desktop and select 'make a copy'
3) Select your choice such that you will make a copy of the cd, then take that
disc out and

Didn't have a chance, actually. After telling me what had failed during
the upgrade process and asking me to submit these reports to launchpad
(which I did), the install routine simply quit, leaving me alone with my
Feisty Fawn.
Right now I'm writing this from a fresh Gutsy Installation - from
Apparently with the last update(of gutsy of course) its working.

Since this happened when neither beryl or compiz was running it can't be
a compiz problem. However, it sounds like a one-time fluke. Setting to
Low.

With the Expand setting turned off, after logging off and logging in,
the main panels (both top and bottom) start filling up with icons.
However, by the time it's finished doing so, the icons aren't where
they're supposed to be e.g. the clock
