I fixed my problem by looking at the default setup of another system and
noting that it did not have:
/etc/X11/Xsession.d/90gpg-agent
I renamed that file, restarted X, and all is well. Seahorse is running
by itself rather than under gpg-agent:
/usr/bin/seahorse-agent --execute
I experience the same problem running x86_64 Hardy 8.04 beta and x86_64
x86 7.10.

I would suggest that the importance be raised and the bug be opened in
Xorg or the relevant driver. This basically stops people in their tracks
from using the AMD64 CD on MacBook Pro, unless you know how to switch VT
and force GDM to reload.

The beta was set before the fix to the usplash was done, and I believe

I can confirm this problem on hardy.
It may be caused by me not getting a username/password dialog when
connecting to smb://server. When not using kerberos I see no shares
(could be because I only allow users to view shares *after*
authentication) and samba server-side has restrict anonymous set
Under Hardy the bug still persists. You can turn off the status bar at
the bottom and then it will work properly.

I have this issue too. Super key and another key just wont map. Isnt
that a song by Loverboy? Anyways, I wonder if there is a text file we
can edit, and manually set these, and see if it works that way? Maybe
its just an issue with the Keyboard Shortcuts applet?
