I can confirm that it's a duplicate of 289732. I followed a work-around

This issue occurred on my laptop. I think that this is caused by either a
corrupt configuration file or by a version upgrade that does not handle the old
versions configuration correctly. At this time i think that the former
condition is the cause.

In rhythmbox you cannot export ratings of your songs. I think it could
be an useful function as, if you re-install your system or move your
songs to another PC, you have to re-assign ratings again.

Same here, I really miss displayconfig-gtk - please bring it back or
implement the missing feature (i.e. manual override of the

Sorry, but with 'latest Ubuntu release', I had Ubuntu 9.10 (karmic) in
mind, which ships gnome 2.28. This is the current release that upstream
is supporting and they believe it should be fixed with 2.28, so it would
be grateful if you could test it with Ubuntu 9.10. Thanks.

I installed the latest ubuntu on my pc and the lagnos still has this
bug. My laptop is oen version back and it has the same issues. No matter
what resolution selected the squares are off the bottom of the screen

gnome-about-me incorrectly displays a translation for Home as Dossier
personnel (in the case of the French locale), as home directory
rather than home address
