I just spent an hour creating a playlist on my iPod only to find out
later that the playlist could not be saved, so I lost an hour's work.
This is unacceptable, Rhythmbox should not allow you to create a
playlist on the iPod if it cannot be saved, or should at least warn you
that you will lose it

should be a small usability issue , in the default Ubuntu 9.10 install ,
that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't
be addressed as part of the project.

poster (embedded fonts), but there are also other 0a problems which

fixed it! :)

The problem is only partially solved by making Disk Utility close the
luks device.
In fact all other situations in which a device is not closed correctly also
lead to this error.
I use an encrypted external harddrive. Whenever I shutdown the drive before
unmounting or suspend the pc, then
I’ve upgraded empathy to the Lucid version, and the only change is that
in step 4 it doesn’t bring up the wizard. The contact list still
doesn’t appear in either window list unless opened through indicator-
applet.

Note that I am not quitting empathy, but only closing the contact list
window, if that helps.

Thanks to Marek Kasik from Red Hat, this bug has been confirmed and may
be later fixed in GTK+ (printer dialog).
Workaround:
For now you may disable cups to listen on /var/run/cups/cups.sock by
commenting the line including it in cupsd.conf and leave only Listen
localhost:631 line.

Teej, do you know how can I test hibernate function with a live CD? In
fact if I boot the system with live Lucid Lynx the system has no swap
partition. So I tryed to add the swap of my real system and the
hibernation went ok. But then I have no idea to resume the system.
