[Bug 95326] Re: sound juicer aac formatted files skip and...
Just found out that profile=4 encodes something semi-ok but it appears to still be played back broken. The noise is just more subtle (although too annoying to listen to with headphones). And profile=2 has the problem that the track numbers are not added to the file. When I try to manually add them using rhythmbox itself, they only stay until I restart rhythmbox. [Bug 494096] Re: Clicking the title of a window is bringing a window underneath it into focus
It seems like this only happens with certain themes... After switching my window borders to New Wave it seems like it's not happening anymore. It also doesn't happen when using compiz, even with themes that screw up metacity. The original poster also mentioned that he uses multiple monitors, and so do I. The other posters haven't mentioned whether they do or not but maybe that's also required to see the problem. Somehow it seems like the problem is some interaction between metacity and certain themes, including the default Human one, and possibly relating to using multiple monitors. -- Clicking the title of a window is bringing a window underneath it into focus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/494096 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to metacity in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 516476] [NEW] desktop icons disappear on accessing the trash folder
You have been subscribed to a public bug: When I put something in the trash folder and want to access that trash folder later on to see what I put in it, the folder immediately closes and I get to see my desktop pic instead. However, there are no icons on that desktop. I can not change anything on it. I can only go to my desktop icons when I access the folder instead. Logging off and back on gets me back the normal desktop. [Bug 332355] Re: Empathy doesn't alert to new email messages
I don't care if we're annoying the developers. To me it sounds like the whole reason they hadn't worked on this in the first place is a lack of understanding that a mail notifier is an extremely important feature to MANY users. The issue is Ubuntu has made an Empathy to be the default client, and if the developers can't handle a few requests to improve their software then why are they developing in the first place? I find it hard to believe they only want to spend their valuable time fixing bugs, instead of making an inferior product truly ready for the open market. -- Empathy doesn't alert to new email messages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/332355 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
