The ambiance theme for the terminal is a big improvement over the old
default, however the purple background doesn't seem dark enough, I am
having a hard time reading the text on the background, maybe making it a
tad darker would be

Well, I'm on Ubuntu 9.10 and have a computer of i386, I also experience this
problem and I can describe it in details:
If you are not playing a track, you can move the volume control in rhythmbox's
GUI up and down and it won't crash, but when you are playing a track, move the
slider either up

Yes, I notice Pedro Villavicencio metions about Apport automatically
handles a crash report, but as I say, no crash report could be found in
/var/crash dir and I didn't get a crash report, so I can only report it
here and hope you can see.

I see that you're right. Something must have gotten fixed along the

Kangarooo, I'm not sure what you mean, but when right clicking the keyboard
layout icon, there's no Properties menu entry. See the attached picture.

already changed it from Tags - Edit in the dropdown menu and just left
it there. That menu remembers the selection even after F-spot is

I'm using gimp 2.6.7 and after using Drop-shadow, when I want to save
the file it freezes the entire system. I use Ubuntu 9.10... it was

How do I delete files off an external drive?
Let's say the drive is full. So I delete some files to make room. these
