I feel the problem is in the Notification Applet and Clock Applet. When I
remove these applets from my panel the panel works normally.
I am running Ubuntu 10.04 upgraded from 8.04. Only on the upgrade machine I
have problem. On my laptop I did a clean install and I don't get this problem.

I switched from using Exchange connector to IMAP/LDAP combination to
access the same mail server (Exchange) and I am able to read e-mails

Twilight zone: I've disabled the power manager from the sturtup but I
still get the same message! This thing runs by itself. I am not sure if
the problem is associated with the 32-22 kernel or with the power

I've this issue with one of my USB HDD. I thought formatting it can resolve it
however even gparted can't umount it.
Here is gparted output on umount
Text ended before matching quote was found for . (The text was 'sh -c 'umount

Hope this helps someone understand the problem.
the problem for me is: gstreamer-good depends unnecessary by gconf.
why base ugly and bad not depends by gconf?

I'm noticing that the message window doesn't show up if I wait long enough
before I log in--long enough being until I hear the Ubuntu startup sound.
Apart from this little glitch, the system appears to be working fine, so, at
least for the time being, I can live with it.

When logging on
Since 8.04-10.04, this was the greatest usability f-up i've experienced
with Ubuntu. Maybe that is because i used xubuntu until I recently got a
new computer and never turned on the visualizations.
However, if this is not considered an urgent bug, it seems like some
user hints in the keyboard
