For me the behaviour is slightly different. I have my MP3 on a Samba
share (a NSA210 Zyxel NAS box). It imports the files all successfully.
On reboot, I find the library empty (despite the Samba folder being
correctly mounted (tested by browsing to it)). On reloading

Ubuntu Review team radar. Once the above issue is resolved and the patch

However, this problem doesn't seem to exist in my JJ 9.04 machine but I
experienced it in both of my LL 10.04 machines.
In my LL 10.04 machines I found simply changing Network Manager to use

When I hook up an external hard drive (or USB flash drive) with one big
VFAT partition (a VERY common thing), I want to see all
directories/folders having these default permissions:

problematic default file/directory permissions when VFAT drive connected
Hello,
this bug is still alive in Lucid.
Copying pasting works fine otherwise, e.g. via Gnome Commander or
terminal.
Please let me know if you need more detailed info.
