Reproduced on the same system on a smaller scale - Rhythmbox doubled in
memory usage (from around 70MB to 140MB) when transferring ~150 songs to
the same iPod. Surely it should be able to transfer one song, then
remove it from RAM and do the next?

I also get this error when trying to alter the tags of any mp3-file, whether
the operation is tried on one or multiple files.
When changing tags of a single file, I will get this error dialog, internally
Rhythmbox seems to be using the new data, however the mp3 files themselves are

I can't reproduce this on Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat alpha 3
updated to firefox 3.6.9+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 and libcairo2
1.9.14-1ubuntu1. All pages printed to PDF by Firefox seem to be text,
not bitmaps.

Regarding Totem being cranky at starting (and possibly re package
installation issues) in Maverick - you may find an official test release
milestone build (such as the beta at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing ) to
be more stable.

I just tried to burn an audio CD from a set of mp3 files.
1. opened brasero and went to the music folder
2. selected the files
3. pressed the burn button and then again in the burning properties dialog.
4. got the crash.

The core issue seems to be that 'mount -o loop' creates an udev event,
but unmounting such a loop mount creates none, misleading Nautilus to
offer an non-existent device to the user. The bug description is wrong
anyway, as there is no loop device left after usb-creator.

I am thinking possibly related to 251811. I wonder if this is for
certain a problem with gnome-network-properties or possibly related to
aptitude, apt-get, software-center... not using the proxies that are
defined

A great idea, but how would this work with dual/milti monitors? Or,
even, with the grid plugin from compiz, (allows you to square off
windows with relative ease
same problem here, but instead of trying to troubleshoot it, I copied
the cd using K3B
