I was trying to burn a cd with brasero, and all it says is creating
image checksum, with a progress bar going back and forth. It never gets
past that, even after 10 minutes.

I had a nightmare with ubuntu 10.10, the CPU gets extremely very hot,
and that without any computational effort, just web surfing cause the
cpu to get at 80 C , while it is critical at 90 C.

One more data point:
I've been using Evolution since Ubuntu 9.10 or 10.04, but I've only started to
see this problem now, with 10.10. All distribution updates were actual updates,
not reinstalls, so the configuration and data directories should have stayed
unchanged.

Solved and my problem had nothing to do with this mentioned error message as it
turns out. Now I can log in and this CRITICAL message still appears in my
syslog.
I first copied all of my system folders (hidden dot folders) out of the

I am using firefly svn-1696.
With this version of Firefly/MTdaap, Smart playlists do show up in banshee,
amarok and mplayer on n900. Though that is no proof, it appears the problem
does not lie on the mt-daap side, but is unique to Rhythmbox.

Sorry for the confusement, that was a mistake of course... So this is
still notsolved here. I have 15% of my original battery capacity, but I
believe it should work anyway. It still doesn't guess the remaining time
correctly (which is the source of the whole problem), because when it
says 10 min.

The corresponding GNOME bug shows that it's intended behavior. I was
misinterpreting what was happening -- the contacts were actually linked
automatically because they were the same contact ID under different user
accounts.

The menu items in System do not have icons. This looks inconsistent. You
can fix it by turning menus_have_icons on, but this will also enable
icons in every other program menu.
