I changed it to a security vulnerability. Open local ports with no
connection on the other end... Sounds pretty pretty secure to me

[Bug 923561] [NEW] package libglib2.0-0 2.30.0-0ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 127

2012-01-29 Thread Andrew
Public bug reported:

I can't launch any display manager -- they all quit saying that there is a
segfault in the file libgio-2.0.so.0.3000.0.
I have reinstalled the package containing the file (libglib2.0-0), but it does
not fix the problem -- the file does not change.

My ~/.xsession-errors file says that there is an error with DBus. I am
not sure how this relates to this problem.

This bug has been reported before, however, I am sending a new one per a
request in the comments.

Re: [Bug 896590] Re: Empathy often shows notifications Password required

2012-01-29 Thread Ernestas
For me, it does not.

The bug is two months old now. Are there any fixes, patches or
 workarounds yet?

Fixed it myself. Obvioulsy you have to login with your facebook name at
the website first, before you can log in with empathy.

 For me it works now.

[Bug 878244] Re: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke()

2012-01-29 Thread Mark Rooney
Same bug occuring on Precise 12.04 Alpha 2 - gnome settings daemon crashes on
start up with a fully up to date system.
This results in reduced graphics for some icons and unity does not load all
icons.

[Bug 902814] Re: Context menu over find dialog has strange grey separator

2012-01-29 Thread Vadim Rutkovsky
Reported upstream - https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=668993

** Description changed:

+ Original Report:
Right clicking on the find bar in Oneiric gives a context menu starting with
search related optins (match case, full word etc. - the options given when you
click on the magnifying glass) followed by text related options like cut, copy
and paste.
The two sections are separated by a thick grey horizontal bar rather than
GTK's usual thin, subtle bar.
+
+ TESTCASE:
+ 1) Open find dialog (Ctrl+F)
+ 2) Right click on Find textbox
+
+ Result: context menu has a thick grey separator
+ Expected Result: context menu has a normal GTK+ separator

[Bug 685848] Re: gnome-about-me crashes with invalid source

2012-01-29 Thread Martinique
I noticed this error on 10.04 LTS when trying to run gnome-about-me.
Like Dan Swift I have upgraded Evolution to 2.32 (with a PPA), but I'm
not sure if that caused it, since I seldom use gnome-about-me.
