Was just about to upload the gnome-screensaver fix and then I realised it doesn't work in this case: When you switch users (e.g. to guest) indicator-session locks the screen then does the switch. With this change this causes lightdm to both start a greeter and a new session. I think I'll add the Show Desktop button by default since it's rather useful (of course, it does the same as Ctrl+Alt+D). I don't think the Trash icon is useful for most people by default. Adding a Help button isn't very useful since Help would either describe Unity or GNOME Shell which are dramatically different than GNOME panel. Piotr, you have to hold down the Alt key and then right click on the panels to edit them. If you're running Compiz, you'll have to hold down Alt+Super. When I reported the bug, the steps to reproduce were, use gedit. This was actually such a problem that I moved to an earlier version of gedit, I use gedit a lot. However I just clean installed today (new HDD) and I should know soon if this is still a problem. Sorry I just noticed your reply. I just clean installed the daily CD from 2/9/2012. I will report back if it happens again, so far no problems. I am not sure what I could do to try to reproduce the bug other then rebooting a lot because it just sort of happened after booting. If you have any suggestion I am willing to spend some time trying to run it down, it's just that I really have no idea what to do. Workaround learned from bug 912446 e.g. select files with ctrl+left mouse, make sure the right click to access context menu hits a file name instead of empty space, then it'll be displayed. Usability pain happened more than once when a file name is short and already selected but right click hits only µm near the file name there will be no related context menu. Make a newbie survey how many know which shortcuts to use instead.
