I can confirm that this is present, and readily replicable, in Ubuntu 17.04 Gnome running on my Skylake Alienware 17 R3 with GTX 970M! In addition, the 60 second counter that we see in the Shutdown and Log Out dialogue windows ("This computer will Shut Down/Log Out automatically in 60 seconds.")
