[Bug 1791936] Re: GNOME system-monitor cpu graph color does not update or persist
When assigning in reverse using only custom colors as you suggested (32 down to 1), it somewhat works, although not really (there are stray colors that are not changed at all). When assigning even somewhat out of reverse order, colors revert back to what they were originally set to. The colors still are not saved on exit. Furthermore, launching from the terminal (gnome-system-monitor) reports no errors, and one warning: Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/conf.avail/53-monospace-lcd- filter.conf", line 10: Having multiple values in isn't supported and may not work as expected ** Attachment added: "Screenshot from 2018-11-24 02-20-29.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-system-monitor/+bug/1791936/+attachment/5215848/+files/Screenshot%20from%202018-11-24%2002-20-29.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-system-monitor in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1791936 Title: GNOME system-monitor cpu graph color does not update or persist To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-system-monitor/+bug/1791936/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1799293] Re: gnome session: Must ask twice to lock the screen
It affects me as well. But: 1) I have no auto-login. 2) I have no Dash to Dock installed, so I cannot even try the workaround from #7. 3) It is 100% reproducible. 4) If I don't lock the screen manually (that is with Win+L) everything works properly. In general, I have a feeling that after locking my Gnome instance is duplicated (one running inside of the other overlapping each other?) --- hence the need to lock twice and the left panel is not auto-hiding anymore, and most of the top indicators are missing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1799293 Title: gnome session: Must ask twice to lock the screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1799293/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1264899] Re: typing anything into terminal causes traceback error
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time. Your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once in a terminal: apport-collect 1264899 and then change the status of the bug back to "New". Please add any additional information that you think might be relevant. Alternatively, please confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the bug report. [Bug 1804465] Re: Nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast when searching on Dingo
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1804260 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1804260 Thanks for the answer. I well made 2 reports on the windows opened after the crashes when asked to do it, but it didn't open Launchpad, I got no confirmation bug report was sent, and when searching before creating a new bug, nothing similar appeared, that's why I made the screenshots. Perhaps it would be useful to add a confirmation that crash report has well been received ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1804465 Title: Nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast when searching on Dingo To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1804465/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1803807] Re: Lock screen doesn't hide the screen contents
@andrasvetoprivate I found out that this is caused by the Ubuntu Dock extension. However, this extension builds default settings into another existing extension called "Dash to Dock" I recommend installing Dash to Dock instead and customizing the settings to match that of Ubuntu Dock. That has resolved my screen locking issues with Ubuntu Dock. To install: 1. Go to your Software center 2. Click on the search bar and type in "dash to dock" 3. Click install 4. Click Extension Settings and play around with them. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1803807 Title: Lock screen doesn't hide the screen contents To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1803807/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1763892] Re: 144Hz/120Hz monitor but mutter seems to cap rendering at 60FPS
Yes, removing the change from the SRU would resolve the problem, weirdly. [Bug 1763892] Re: 144Hz/120Hz monitor but mutter seems to cap rendering at 60FPS
That fix doesn't appear to be merged upstream. Why are you not comfortable about what I proposed?
