[Bug 1838177] [NEW] bluetooth->settings causes gnome-shell assertion failure, then many video-releated msgs
Public bug reported: Whenever the "bluetooth settings" screen is opened, an assertion failure is logged from gnome-shell, followed by many video-related lines from gdm-x-session (syslog extract attached). Humm, actually this happens only when using byobu and the terminal is started through it's icon, if I start the terminal directly it works ok. So this may be related to byobu and not the terminal itsef. Ubuntu Disco Dingo, gnome 3.32, happens only on wayland. [Bug 1838152] [NEW] gnome-shell freezes on notification arrival (fixed upstream)
Public bug reported: Sometimes certain notifications make the desktop unresponsive for a few seconds and then gnome-shell crashes and all extensions are reloaded. I have found an upstream bug with a patch, but it's probably not in the Ubuntu's package. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. This bug was reported some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time. The upstream bug was closed "RESOLVED INCOMPLETE" on 2011-06-29 as no information regarding the issue in later versions of evince was provided. Does anyone still see a problem using currently supported versions of Ubuntu and evince? Please let us know if you do otherwise this report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.
