[Bug 32089] Can't create appointment (select date problem) in Evolution
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32089 Comment: The error seems to be caused by the date format: If: 1. The numbers for the day and month are reversed (26/02/2006 instead of 02/26/2006 for February 26, 2006, for instance), and 2. The meeting duration is set to until so that the end date can be manually changed as well, then the date is accepted as valid and the appointment sets successfully, showing up at the expected date and time. While the user is presented with mm/dd/ as the format, the program is expecting dd/mm/. This is also the format in which the date is being displayed in the calendar (26 February 2006, for example, instead of February 26, 2006). Hope this info is helpful in finding the source of the bug. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 32352] [Dapper] Mounted partion not visible in places menu
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32352 Comment: I had the same problem, and then I saw this thread here: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/28786, which explains that we're not supposed to mount local partitions under /media - that's reserved for pluggable media (don't worry, this is the first I heard about it too). So, I created a directory for my partition under /mnt (sudo mkdir /mnt/hda2), and edited /etc/fstab to mount my partition there. Still wasn't showing up, so I ran gconf-editor and under /system/storage, ticked the option to display_internal_hard_drives. It now shows up in Places as 9.3GB Volume, which isn't as descriptive as Windows (which I called my FAT32 partition), but is adequate. [Bug 32735] gnome-screensaver should allow lock after x time
Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32735 Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: Estimated developers, In xscreensaver, there exists a setting that allows the screensaver not to lock inmediately, but after some time. However, in the current gnome- screensaver the screen either doesn't lock, or locks inmediately after entering the screensaver (not while fading in). In my humble opinion, there should exist an option to lock the screen some time after the screensaver has started. I am using a dist-upgraded dapper, and the current gnome-screensaver version is 2.13.91-0ubuntu2 Thanks for your efforts -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
