Ah, oops! Yes, the clipping problem does show up in xss with the default
visual, but works properly using the GL visual.

I also have this problem and as the orginal poster said it only apears in gtk
ap with AA turned of. From what i have seen all gtk apps are afected nt just
gnome apps.
Anyone know if a fix for this problem is underway?
