this shouldnt be minor[...] I agree. Usplash down is one of the main features of the new Dapper. If you see: http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/flight5 No Linux distribution has had a complete graphical shutdown process... until now. Starting with Flight 5, Ubuntu 6.06 now uses usplash to provide a graphical shutdown screen. This gives Ubuntu a more professional and user friendly feel overall. Users now see almost no text messages on the startup and shutdown screens. [Bug 45380] Dropdown from collapsed evolution toolbar is not displayed
Public bug reported: Description of the problem: When the composing a mail window in evolution does not have enough space to display all its toolbar icons a dropdown arrow will appear at the right to let you see the icons that didn't fit. Clicking on this causes the arrow to go into the depressed state, a brief flicker of grey but no missing icons are displayed. Steps to reproduce: 1. Start evolution . 2. Press Ctrl-Shift-M to get the Compose Message window to appear. 3. Resize the Compose Message window smaller so that not all the icons toolbar will fit horizontally and a dropdown arrow appears at the right of the toolbar. 4. Click the dropdown arrow. Expected results: Dropdown arrow to go into a depressed state, icons that could not be fitted into the main toolbar to appear in a vertical list. Actual results: Dropdown arrow to goes into a depressed state, there is a brief flicker of grey but no missing icons are displayed. A very small 4px across box appears under the arrow. I uploaded the bogus password fix, thanks Soren! gnome-cups-manager (0.31-1.1ubuntu11) dapper; urgency=low . * Cleaned up the 'foo.diff and foo.diff.patch' mess. * Add debian/patches/password_field_garbage.patch: - When editing SMB connection attributes, do not set the password input field to the value of 'resource' (which is 'smb').
