Binary package hint: gnome-panel
If evolution is not installed, when double click a day in the clock
applet, gnome-panel will crash.
Steps to reproduce:
1. sudo apt-get remove evolution
2. Click the the clock applet in the panel, it will show a calendar
3. Double-click a
Similar, but not the same. Generating two thumbnails for the same path
is not the same as failing to identify that that two paths point to the
same file.

dholbach: is this likely the same bug as all the gnome-panel hangs on
startup bugs? The solution (killall gnome-panel) seems the same---the
bug is still here and occuring about 1 time in 2 for me;

It means that if gnome-power-manager is running, the button does nothing
at al. If gnome-power-manager is not running, the normal acpi rules
work fine, the the power button puts my laptop in S3 suspend.

I'd be interested to know if it still happens when making

xscreensaver (which was installed in parallel, and which I’ve removed
now that I noticed). I’ll report back if removing xscreensaver chnages

Sorry for the delay in answering this. I had no issue with my network before
changing the gdm configuration. Even after I fixed it, however, sometimes
there won't be any connection and then I just have to reboot, which solves it.
I don't think this is related to gdm, anyway, but it wasn't like

I just guess I never do anything with that folder before as it's hidden and
I even don't know it's existence .
May be I'll reinstalled ubuntu next time and verify again.
