I've found that it is an issue only with .PS documents.
I'm unable to print multiple copies of PostScript files, converting this to pdf
,for example with Scribus resolve the problem.
So I did some tests and

blank pages for each page printed. Both almost blank pages had a thin
line of dots at the top of each page, which later appeared to be

I completely purged 2.10.2 and moved away all gthumb directories from
~/.gnome2 and ~/.gconf/apps, then reinstalled gthumb,
but nothing changed.
I restored the gthumb directories in ~/.gnome2 and ~/.gconf/apps and
downgraded to 2.7.9 and the thumbnails reappeared.
So apparently this is a bug

My initial post already says the MPG321 is installed. And now I have
also install vorbis-tools but the MP3s still will not work on the hover
of the mouse.

I installed GStreamer 0.10.12 and I had both Audio and Visual, then I
performed a system update (around 60 patches), restarted the PC and
found I've lost Audio when I watch films.

No, they're mostly wavpack flac, and a couple of mp3s.
So, looking at that bug I tried playing files from each of those types, and
both the flac mp3 files played fine. Only the wavpack files fail to play.
All the wavpack files were encoded in Banshee using GStreamer, and play fine in
both
