this is probably related. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 1491 error_code 8 request_code 62 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. Confirmed. I'm using 7.10 with all updates installed, and I see this bug sometimes. When I hold my pointer over Recent Documents in the Places menu, I sometimes get a No Items Found below all the items in the list. It doesn't happen all the time; just sometimes. I would estimate that it happens about 25-30% of the time. (Probably, whether or not it happens has to do with whether I've opened any documents since I started the computer, as Dylan McCall states in his comment posted 2007-10-03.) [Bug 184118] DnD is broken with GtkFileChooserWidget when programatically setting current folder
Public bug reported: Drag and Drop sends the wrong file path after programattically setting current folder in GtkFileChooserWidget. If I manually select a different folder (e.g.: Home on the bookmarks bar) and select Desktop again, it works. Steps to reproduce: 1. Compile/run attached testcase. 2. Drag a file from the right pane on to the desktop. This seems to work best with a file that isn't the first or last in your Desktop directory. Notice that when the file is dropped, it's not the file you originally dragged. It seems to be the previous file or directory in the list. if you click Home on the bookmarks bar, and then click Destop on the bookmarks bar, the bug goes away. This seems related to 004_gtk+-ximian- gtk2-filesel-navbutton-5.patch. This seems Gutsy specific, as gtk+ 2.12.0 does not exhibit this problem. ** Affects: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- DnD is broken with GtkFileChooserWidget when programatically setting current folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/184118 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
