I use the new network manager 0.7. It is connected but to be honest I
get the same behaviour with Firefox since yesterday. When I disable work

4. I think miked might be having a separate issue, because my keyboard

In Gutsy, I just go to Applications/Games/Gnometris select game/new and start

I am pretty sure that this bug has something to do with Bug #131646 and of
course Bug #130933.
You can test it through disabling compiz System - Preferences - Appearance -
Desktop Effects - None and then restart X. After that the panel should be fine.

I can confirm this but it is a gnome-panel issue and sadly not the only
one (changing icon positions). It is a little bit messed up in Gnome.
E.g try to move the panel if it has many icons and you put it on the
right or left side of a wide screen monitor.

files. The MIME type is correct, but when I right click on a icon such
as a tar file, I usually see an extract here option, and encrypt option,
but those are gone.

On an up-to-date hardy install, all icon themes descending from gnome-
icon-theme show up the text-x-generic icon for many filetypes, eg.
office documents, compressed archives, ISO images and so on. Examining
/usr/share/ico
Finally I found the perfect match for MacBook 2nd gen UK keyboard configured
for brazilian portuguese characters:
