It seems to be just Rhythmbox's meta data base. Ex Falso shows the correct tags, which means according to EF I would not need to edit the tags in the first place. [Bug 180087] Re: Processes tab causes GLib error
I have this same exact problem with an Icon set I made by combining icons from Crashbit and NouveXT2.2. I had this same icon set working fine under Gutsy. I too think this is a bug in the gnome-system-monitor. No other programs crash because of icon discrepancies. The program should be worked to ignore or inherit different icons when it encounters something different than it expects. It's going to be very difficult to find the faulty icon, and we shouldn't have to use 'standard' icons just to get the system-monitor to work. If all else fails, maybe the system monitor should just force use the icons from /usr/share/icons/gnome rather than using the user's defined icon set. At least then the program would work. -- Processes tab causes GLib error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/180087 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 139291] Re: g-p-m suspends laptop on unplugging event
Looks like this bug has been dormant for a few months. Rather than file a new report I'm going to chime in here to say that I have this exact problem. I have a Thinkpad G41 running an up-to-date fresh install of Ubuntu Hardy (with a few small config tweaks). My laptop reliably suspends-to-RAM EVERY time I unplug the power cord (with the exception of immediately after it has booted). My laptop worked fine in Feisty. I believe this problem started at some point in Gutsy (at- or post-upgrade, I don't recall), and is now still here in Hardy. I want to suggest that this bug may be also related to bug #146424, bug #157467, bug #44863, and/or the early (supposedly fixed) bug #33072. [Bug 226413] [NEW] Bug with system monitoring
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Hello, Here is a little bug (I think) I found with Ubuntu Hardy, either on a Dell D820 and D830. Maybe it is a bug on all computers or not, I can't say. It is very simple. To reproduce it, follow those few instructions: - Add the graphical system monitoring to your launch bar (I don't know the exact word in english sorry), to see in real time the graphical use of your processor. - Usually, the graphic will be "empty" (no processor use) when your computer is idle. - Now open the monitor (click on it), and you will see the processor being more and more used (the 2 processors on a core 2 duo), until it reaches about 80% of charge without any reason. Moreover, if you have a look to the task list, none of them are using the processor... I hope you understood me ;-) Regards. ** Affects: dell Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid ** Affects: gnome-applets (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Bug with system monitoring https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/226413 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-applets in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 219054] Re: Evolution doesn't send mail with attachments via GMail SMTP
I can confirm that this is indeed a bug. It is a regression, there was no problem in Gutsy and it consistently doesn't work in Hardy. Steps to reproduce: 1. Run any Hardy configuration (results are the same from Live CD and from fully updated installed version) 2. Run any e-mail client (I tried Evolution, Thunderbird and Claws) 3. Set up a Gmail account (results are the same for both newly created and old accounts) Settings are: pop.gmail.com:995/SSL and smtp.gmail.com:25/TLS or smtp.gmail.com:587/SSL 4. Create a small e-mail message and send it. This works OK. 5. Create a large e-mail message (for me the threshold is about 150 kB) and send it. Expected result: Mail gets sent like in step 4. Actual result: Mail client starts sending the message and stops after about 150 kB. It then appears to continue sending the message, but no more bytes get sent for a few minutes and then it reports an error message (Evolution and Thunderbird give a generic error message, Claws says something like "connection timeout"). Please consider reopening this bug. Also, let me know how I can test further.
