[Bug 141027] Re: Formatting Message...

I also see this formatting message message occasionally and evolution hangs.
I have evolution open continuously and it works most of the time. It can be
running for many days (reading many emails) without showing this message.
I have one pop and one imap account.
The traces seem to suggest ldap is being used. I did setup an ldap account
once, but it never managed to connect - I'll try removing that to see if it
helps.

[Bug 191889] Re: Ubuntu's new Offline Mode feature cannot properly detect when there is a valid network available for use in many circumstances

2008-05-13 Thread Sokraates
As written above, in Firefox select File - Work Offline. Work
Offline should now be unchecked and Firefox should now work properly.
For Konqueror I don't know a solution.

Do you use a regular wireless (wifi) or a wireless UMTS modem? A wifi-
connection should be picked up by network-manager and you shouldn't have
this problem in the first place.

I've done diff on gdm.conf and gdm.conf-custom files only. There is no
differences in gdm.conf but there is these empty lines in gdm.conf-custom.
So if someone who still have the bug can try to edit gdm.conf-custom, remove
these 3 lines (if they exist) and test it, it whould be helpfull.

I'll also try to revert the diff (adding empty lines) to see if the bug
reappears. If it doesn't, there may be others files impacted by the act
of running gdmsetup.

[Bug 229899] [NEW] Printing landscape in some applications is broken

2008-05-13 Thread yaztromo
Public bug reported:

I don't know whether this is cups or libgnomeprint but I'd be willing to
guess the latter.

I found this bug in both epiphany-browser and firefox 3b5 which seem to
use the same print dialog. Gedit which uses the same dialog isn't
affected.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Choose page setup
2. Choose landscape
3. Now print to any printer (including PDF)
4. Page prints in portrait but with landscape formatting.and truncated output.

Attached PDF print from firefox shows problem.

[Bug 224909] Re: copying files via ssh using nautilus is slow and freezes parts of my desktop.

2008-05-13 Thread Sebastien Bacher
the issue described there was slow upload speed and freeze, what you
seem to get is a different bug and should not be commenting on this one
but rather open a new one then, I suggest opening it directly on
bugzilla.gnome.org because the speed issue might be tricky, especially
that you seem to be the only one to have it on download, and they know
the code better

closing the bug since that seems to be rather an local issue than a bug
and a reinstallation worked correctly
