I tried to download the package, but I got an error when I tried to open
it with Gdebi saying that the package may be corrupted or not being
allowed to open the file. It's not a permissions problem (I even tried

As an additional note, it seems to vary quite dramatically depending on
the disc. Some discs rip at an almost normal rate, whereas others seem
to go much more slowly. Yet some of the discs that rip slowly don't

well the playback of the movies i have are really inconsistent. the majority
of the time this occurs is whenever i first download the movie. some of the
small clips are coming from a breakdance forum i go to.

set to Autodetect and I changed plugin option to X Window System (No Xv)

updating one file at a time to see if I can narrow it down to which file
is causing the problem. When I upgraded libsmbclient and restarted I was

certain modules could it be that the uninterruptible processes only come
up when a certain module is loaded for example when some device is
attached or switched on, while the bug doesn't happen when the module is
unloaded and

Brasero cant find temporary image when copying a DVD with only one
I can't reproduce it. This was one of many problems I had after taking the
Feisty > Gutsy > Hardy upgrade path.
The problems mounted up and defeated me in the end and I decided on a fresh
install.

Just done all proposes update.
Connected camera via usb. Imported photo's via F-spot and Gthumb only to fine
that the date modified was todays date, ie the creation date on my pc, and not
the date the picture was taken. Previously files imported in gutsy had the date
taken as the modified date.
I came across the 'Power Manager unchecked' problem as well. Given that
responses seem to suggest that this is the cause for most people, I
suggest that this bug be about that problem, and if someone has a
different cause, file a separate bug.

after converting some mp3 to oggs, I was deleting the original files,
and my mouse stuck over one of them, which started autoplaying. I

Maybe u could try find and change "scale" value in about:config or gconf and
change it there. In my case though the value is kept 100% after the first print

well, out of ten people that tested the fix in #ltsp al ten didnt have
the issue anymore after upgrading, i suspect there is something special
in your setup or hardware that makes up teh difference since you are
really the first person to still see the issue after upgrading the
packages ... lets tr

I also tried the "trick" on my desktop machine (adding a new user) and
again it worked: (previous try was on my laptop)
