I should note that the network manager errors disappeared when I
upgraded to 0.7.0, and GDM isn't crashing anymore.

I can confirm this bug on a Compaq nx6125 laptop (AMD Turion64, generic kernel,

I think that this *is* a bug. Glade-3 gives no feedback to the user to

I too can confirm exactly the same issue - I am able to copy a file but
not a directory from network mounted share. I get a permission denied
error message. In addition I have exactly the same problem with ftp.
Interestingly, as stated by Gerard and miraceti, browsing to the
~/.gvfs folder allows
Should probably add that there was no issue before upgrading to Hardy
(from Gutsy). Have also tried a clean install and same problem persists.

Sure, all of the boxes affected were installed off the alternative x86
CD, as fresh installs with updates to June 26th 2008 and en_AU as the
locale, having selected Melbourne or Hobart, Australia as the region at
install time.
Happens on a variety of printers, including Brother, HP and Lexmarks.
The patch (minus the comment) has been committed to the gnome-2-22
branch of Epiphany too.

I deleted gnome-panel. But then troubles occured each time I booted.
Ubuntu can not load my profile anymore. I reinstalled gnome-panel
(without starting it), and still my profile still has problems.
