[Bug 174832] Re: ubuntu gnome-terminal - wrong key mapping in bash with a french keyboard

2008-09-05 Thread Oli44
Hello,

Using Ubuntu 8.04, still have the problem: French keyboard layout works
for most applications (applications with a GUI) but doesnt inside Gnome-
terminal (ctrl+q insteead of ctrl+a).

This is very annoying, especially in LTS Ubuntu! I dont want to have to
live with that for years!

I spent several hours reconfiguring locales package for nothing since
this si the terminal that's wrong! Terminator wroks the same by the
way

[Bug 265027] [NEW] Delete buttonn causes the selected folder to move to trash folder without any warning or message

2008-09-05 Thread symphony
Public bug reported:

using VMware from local m/c to access it.

The delete button is causing any highlighted/selected folder/icon to be moved

This causes a problem when if accidently delete is pressed against an

[Bug 265043] [NEW] Evolution doesn't refresh the INBOX folder

2008-09-05 Thread Lionel Dricot
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

The last Evolution in intrepid ( 2.23.91-0ubuntu1 ) doesn't refresh the
INBOX of my IMAP account (it's a dovecot server).

If I check my mail with the webmail, all is fine. Evolution still
display the list of my INBOX as it was a few days ago. If I try to
retrieve one of those mail (now deleted) I get :

Unable to retrieve message
Could not find message body in FETCH response.

Note that other folders are working fine. It means that I see mail that are
filtered to go in other folders (Once, one of my folder had the same problem).

The workaround so far : completely remove the IMAP account, remove the
imap folder in .evolution and recreate the account again. It works for a
few day and then, it's frozen again.

I am still having this bug, at least on an updated 8.04 (not tryed intrepid).
Same problem when nautilus run as a regular user or under sudo. How to
reproduce:
1) crate a new directory and copy a 700 MB video file in it;
2) select a zoom factor  100% (no matter if viewed as icons or not);
3) launch 'top' and see the nautilus process increasing its memory use;
4) select a zoom factor = 100% and presh the refresh button;

2008-09-05 Thread Pedro Villavicencio
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or
challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these
instuctions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be
dealt with by the automatic retracer.

If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch
nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on
the crash report you wish to submit.

I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will
automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more
efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

[Bug 265063] [NEW] gnome-terminal menu bar gets strange transparency by compiz

[Bug 155327] Re: Embedded Terminal: wrong gconf key

2008-09-05 Thread Daniel Holbach
Looks good, very minor nitpicks:
 - Debian/patches instead of debian/patches and that the

CDBS glitch).

However it builds fine and seems all good, so I'll upload it.

Could you please see that the patch is forwarded upstream?
