Did gnome-vfs not use what is now in gvfs ftp backend? Because the gvfs
backend is clearly violating rfc 959. I'm marking this as triaged and
will attach the upstream bug report. I'm sort of surprised that this
ever worked considering that the ftp backend appears to be badly broken
spec-wise.

I looked up wikipedia and found out that FAT32 only supports a maximum file
size of 4gb !

This is happening to me too often. Nautilus can mount, browse and do
everything normally with sftp locations. copying files to remote sftp
locations is okay. On moving a file or a directory or a bunch of both,
it crashes when copying is done and

I'm reopening this because the greyed-out option makes it appear as if
creating a symlink was not possible. My proposal for an alternate

I have had this problem on a dell laptop to the point I had to reload
the system from the installation disk. The bug is sometimes extremely
persistent, surviving pulling the power cord, and ejecting the battery
to force a shutdown. Last time I tried the "xset -r 111" idea and it

The printout was correctly positioned.
I have no idea what was wrong, but everything seems to work like it

Oops. It looks like it's ANY mpeg. I had some mp4's in the same
directory that it was playing fine. Xine, mplayer, VLC .. everybody
plays them fine except Totem. Totem is reporting the video codec as
unknown. Others report it as mpgv or just mpeg. Yes, I have gstreamer
good, bad, ugly, sleepy, whee
I can confirm this. I've Jaunty since Alpha3 and removing ~/.local/share
/desktop-applet/ solves the problem, too.

I second this. Being an anime fan, this can be very annoing, for
instance when two conversation are going at the same time, or a japanese
sign is being translated, and at the same time someone is speaking,
totem just shows one subtitle, dropping the others.

This affects me also.
It also does it with twinview which I was using previously to upgrading to
Jaunty.
I agree with what Conan posted above, any non-extreme edge panel is
ignored from my experience.
I am using a Dell D630 laptop with the main screen being the bottom.

Laptop has two batteries. Hover over gnome power manager icon and i get
what you see in the screenshot. It tells me how much time both batteries
have individually. One has 20 mins one has 55.
