I'm getting the same behavior. Session error : the drive can't be
locked (ongoing burning process) (brasero_burn_record burn.c:2524). I
had a failed burn using Ubuntu CD/DVD Creator, so I closed it and opened
up Brasero. Any other suggestions for debugging help?

Well, best thing for fixing is to mark it against Ubuntu :) .
I don't know, Totem works fine in previous Ubuntu versions with Overlay output.
It flickers but it works if the progress bars appeared.
It seems to be a gstreamer problem since the gstreamer-properties
testing output shows the same
today after updating, the volume control showed up and it is fully
usable on my computer. However after clicking it, it looks weird because
it zooms in like a new window (compiz zoom effect) rather then just
poping up like how the network status icon does when clicked. I suppose
