I can confirm this bug. It seems the method of recognising a VHDL
document is too ambiguous. I am finding YAML files (which should begin
with a line containing the begin-stream header: '---') are also
recognised as VHDL. If this header is removed the type is reported as
text/plain in nautilus.

I suggest that the solution in all cases (not locale specific) is to
switch to an easily readable form which cannot be misinterpreted. This
means
* Each field must be unique
Therefore days, months and years must be represented differently such as
15 Dec 2003 or 15th Dec 03 or 15 Dec '03. I
I've experienced similar problems and surprises. I think one of the
problems is that the date fields in f-spot can have multiple meanings.

Just keep you're home tidy and you wont have a problem finding stuff.
The same goes for your computer, in particular your trash bin. If you've
got hundreds of files in your trash bin, then it is high time to clean
up the place. Do it, it's your responsibility. If you refuse to clean up
DutchTest, please don't set bugs from Triaged to Confirmed. In the

Selection doesn't change when visiting a special location
FWIW, gnome-screensaver-command -a does activate the screen saver for
me in a Gnome session (XFCE unfortunately does not bring up the window
manager in Karmic for me)
PS: Charlie just told me in IRC that the above command works for him as
well, but that the timed activation of the screensaver

Thanks for the fast answer.
I think it was just a corrupt ZIP archive... even though File-roller said its
fine.
I tried to create another zip archive with 'ü' and it worked fine.

Binary package hint: nautilus
I had not done any updates or changed any software (running Ubuntu 9 on
amd64) then suddenly I was not able to open folders from the desktop
menu - places - any folder. I can still use the places menu and click on
the computer tab to access
