misspelling when hovering the display-
I attached the ouput of the above statement. I deleted all the repeating
GVfsJobRead debug info otherwise the dump would be over 2 MB with
useless data. I left the beginning and the end unchanged.

This still happened with 1.5.2, I didn't test 1.5.3 anymore as there were no
changes to the metadata code. It is caused by corrupted metadata files.
Deleting these fixes this issue for me. You can find them in
~/.local/share/gvfs-metadata/ and some of it is stored in gconf, too - you can
delete

well displayed in evince but if you try to see them with kpdf you don't see any
issue.

It seems that you don't have the notify-osd package installed. Can go
to System > Administration > Synaptics Package Manager and install
notify-osd? Please try to reproduce the problem then.
The log file would be in a hidden folder called .cache in home
directory. You can press Ctrl + H to view
