gphoto2. Like many others I have suffered through many releases with
broken digital camera import support. In Lucid. I cannot even gphoto2 -l
or gphoto2 -P my photos! Which I used to do most of the time under

I removed the nvidia proprietary drivers and tested again with the

System > Administration > Users and Groups effectively locks out

it´s a bug comes from directly from gtalk i think. the windows gtalk is
also te same it looks on my wifeś pc.
on the pidgin i don´t have a problem with it. but i don´t understand why
they put empathy as standard chat program?
pidgin look also like alternative i think , but functionality is
instead of revert button, can you simply write "right or left handed interface"
(I suppose in this case the scrollbars are on the left .)

I've found where the problem comes from, and a fix will be released with
the gnome-system-tools 2.30.1, which could enter Lucid as a stable
release update at some point.
jgv: Could you try that this works for you by applying the attached patch on
your system? Just save the file and run:

deleting ~/.gconf/desktop/gnome/session/ solved it.

I have also in Lucid. This is obviously must be fixed since one-user systems
also are effected.
When you log out for graphic session and return to GDM login screen AND enter a
tty[1-6] (no need to actually log in, you just have to see the text prompt),
you will get an empty tty7 and the GDM logi
