The games I was playing were sudoku easy and hard. Ubuntu version 9.10. After each game is completed it gives the time taken as well as the time not active. There may be a lot of clever people out there who can do a sudoku puzzle in less than a minute but I am not one of them My times are more in the region of 25 - 30 minutes. [Bug 594960] [NEW] Evolution hangs while filtering inboxes w/ IMAP setup
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Unfortunately, I don't have much more at this moment than an expansion of the summary. Frequently, daily, actually, Evolution will hang while accessing IMAP mailboxes and the status message usually hangs at: 0% Filtering New Messages It'll sit that way for hours if I allow it to (I let it sit overnight once just to see), and if I try to exit (via the X window button) the window dims and still hangs forever. I usually have to pkill -9 evolution to get rid of it and start over. This behaviour ALSO seems to occur sometimes when it's trying to access an IMAP contact list as well (I have it configured to use Canonical's IMAP directory for e-mail completion.) So the common theme is IMAP usage. I currently have it configured to use two IMAP mail servers, one for work and one that is privately hosted by me in a remote datacenter. [Bug 594967] [NEW] Cannot reload in presentation mode
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince I'm designing pdf slides with pdflatex+beamer, so for better navigation I view the document in presentation mode. In the normal viewing mode, every time I modify the pdf file, evince automatically reloads it (that's neat). In presentation mode, evince does not automatically reload the document, moreover typing Ctrl+R (Reload command) does not make evince reload the document. I have to go back to normal mode (Esc), then the document is automatically reloaded, and go back to presentation mode (F5). I'm on Lucid Lynx, evince 2.30.1. To reproduce this bug: 1. create a latex file (possibly using beamer, not necessary) 2. compile it to pdf 3. open the pdf file with evince 4. switch evince to presentation mode (press F5) 5. modify the latex file 6. compile again to pdf 7. In evince, reload the document (Ctrl+R) Expected result : evince displays the latest version of the pdf file Actual result : evince displays the initial version of the pdf file Importance : 3/5. [Bug 594970] Re: Rhythmbox crashes into segfault with last.fm plugi
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a '.crash' file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- Rhythmbox crashes into segfault with last.fm plugi https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/594970 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 595013] Re: eclipse doesn't start because of libgtk 2.20.1 provide with unity
Thanks for your bug report and for testing unity, which version of gtk did you have before downgrading? 2.20.1-0ubuntu2~menuproxy6 was the latest in the ppa, can you ensure you had the crash with that one? You can try unity without this gtk version, it's only for the appmenu testing (menu in the panel). FYI, with 2.21.1-1ubuntu3 and 2.21.2-0ubuntu1 on maverick, I don't see that issue. ** Changed in: unity Status: New = Invalid ** Summary changed: - eclipse doesn't start because of libgtk 2.20.1 provide with unity + eclipse doesn't start because of libgtk 2.20.1 provide with package in unity ppa ** Also affects: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- eclipse doesn't start because of libgtk 2.20.1 provide with package in unity ppa https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/595013 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 595032] [NEW] Evolution does not honor default printer
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Evolution does not honor GNOME/CUPS default printer. [Bug 595037] [NEW] Evolution fails to add a contact list to a LDAP server
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Evolution cannot add a contact list to a (Open)LDAP server. Adding the same contact list to a local addressbook works nicely.
